How To Correct Mask Face
Masks have come off. Our skin can finally breathe and so can we. What I am seeing is two years of mask face, though— clogging, blemishes, redness. Finally we can catch a breath but what do we do to correct this mess?
How to Correct Mask Face
Step One- Wash Your Face
Make sure you are washing your face at the end of your day with a good cleanser that does what it is supposed to do, CLEANSE. Not strip, not dry out, not wipe more dirt and oil into your skin (wipes). Try Glo Purifying Gel Cleanser for Normal to Oily skin or Glo Phyto-Active Enzyme Cream Cleanser for Normal to Dry skin.
Step Two- Exfoliate
Exfoliate. GENTLY. Scrubbing too hard spreads bacteria and causes irritation. Back off and try this game changer of a product Glo Beta-Clarity Pro 5 Liquid Exfoliant that dissolves harmful build up and bacteria, but doesn’t cause the disruption that over scrubbing can do. If you can’t bear the thought of giving up your gritty scrub, then mix it in with your cleanser to soften the blow that being heavy handed does or try this much more gentle one, Glo Daily Polishing Cleanser.
Step Three- Clarify
Clarify. This can be with a great detox mask like Glo Charcoal Detox Mask
used once or twice a week or with one of our best sellers, Glo Beta-Clarity BHA Drops (Formerly Renew Serum). This can be used as either a spot treatment or as an evening serum under your moisturizer.
Step Four- Moisturize
Moisturize. It may seem counter intuitive to apply moisturizer on a skin that is clogged, but Glo Oil Free Moisturizer or Glo Hydra-Bright AHA Hydrator are both really effective yet lightweight moisturizers that do what they should do- keep the surface of your skin hydrated and your oil glands from going haywire.
Dry scaly lips? Try Glo Barrier Balm.
Want to brighten those lips that have been undercover? Try Bullseye lipstick, a bold, bad ass blue red Glo Lipstick that will bring your lips front and center. Not so brave to go bold? Try Darling or It girl.
Need a quick anti bacterial wipe after the gym? Use Glo Beta-Clarity Clear Complexion Pads.
Do you wear makeup? Remember foundation and concealer should be an extension of your skin care routine. Think about your tender skin you are trying to cover. You want skin care level coverage, not clogging makeup coverage. Even though Glo Under Eye Concealer is called under eye concealer, it works miraculously to cover any spots on your skin because it has the convenience of two shades. Glo now has a brand new SPF tint that has many shade options. If you haven't tried this yet, check out Glo C-Shield Anti-Pollution Moisture Tint (Formerly Moisturizing Tint SPF 30).

Remember the goal with great skin is to get it into balance. Your bottom half of your face has been in lockdown and now that it is out shining your pearly whites, it is time to get back to the skin you are happy with.
