A grand 2 day menopause, peri-menopause- or just-need -a-pause retreat on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, October18-19, 2025 in the historic seaside town of Bristol, Rhode Island.
The words, “Menopause + Peri Menopause” have taken women by storm. The good news is that the menopause cat is out of the bag. At least we are all talking about this massive inevitable change to not only our physical body, but our emotional and spiritual essence of who we are and how we define ourselves as “women.”
Menopause can be invigorating, a wake up and shake up. It doesn't have to be this awful thing we are being told we should be living in dread for as we wait with nervous anticipation.
Expert presenters, spa treatments, gentle movement like guided easy bike rides and walks, great homemade food, and lots of community with like minded women as we delve into all that is happening to our bodies, our minds and our emotions.
Whether it is on its way or you are in menopause already, this retreat will be an engaging respite from all the noise that now surrounds women called Menopause.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?: Women experiencing peri menopause symptoms, women lying in wait for them to arrive (adding yet another item to worry about and prepare for to our never ending lists), women who are in the throes of menopause or any woman who just wants to hang out to learn and connect with other cool chicks on the quest for understanding.
WHERE: Historic Bristol, Rhode Island: A beautiful seaside peninsula located on Narragansett Bay, located between Providence and Newport and a ninety-minute drive from Boston- A four hour train ride from NYC.
WHEN: Saturday afternoon - Sunday evening, October 18-19, 2025- (right before the new moon and there is a reason for this you will learn at the retreat)

Except for the airfare and transportation to get here and back, we do everything for you. This experience takes away the need to plan, decide and negotiate. We will have all of the options for you to be fully present in this intimate gathering filled with experts in the field of women, menopause and all the moving parts that make women who we are. From one night of lodging, meals, activities and everything in between, we have done the work for you and it is all included in the price.

INNS
We have reserved several small places in short and beautiful walking distance to where the retreat is being held at our small business discounted rate.
We have reserved 4 rooms at Bradford-Dimond Norris House, a local historic bed and breakfast.
One King room, or three single rooms with Queens (aren't we all:) - each with a private bathroom.
If you plan on traveling with a group of four, we have reserved a historic guest house on the property of MT. HOPE Farm. This is a 2 night minimum.
If you plan on traveling with 1-2 additional friends, we have reserved one three bedroom air bb at one of our favorites, Evita Properties with one bathroom in walking distance. This is a 2 night minimum.

TRAVEL
Easiest airport to fly to and from is TF GREEN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Easiest train station AMTRAK PROVIDENCE
There is a commuter rail from BOSTON if you fly into LOGAN AIRPORT but you need to get to South Station and you can easily do that by bus or taxi or uber. MBTA
Fall River, Mass is only about twenty minutes from Bristol, RI. and easy.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Transportation travel expenses (though a car service is available for an extra fee to and from airport if necessary)
Extra nights fees for the inn, should you decide to stay for additional evenings before or after retreat - (we hope you do, there is so much to see here and we can provide you with an amazing itinerary and tour guiding should you decide to make a vacation out of this).
