In my fantasy world, I would have had someone in my family teach me all the basic DIY house and car stuff. When I saw this book, I thought that it would be a great addition to anyone's library right alongside the cookbooks. Women should know how to fix the basics. Perhaps it is a generational thing, hopefully young women know these things now, for me it was not part of my upbringing. I hope this book changes that. A great housewarming gift.
