Jerusalem: A Cookbook by Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi


Not only is Yottam Ottolenghi an incredible chef, restauranter, and successful human, but his writing is a wonderful delight to read as he describes his recipes. I hungrily buy his cookbooks and read his stories because it just gives the recipes that much added flavor.

Jerusalem holds a special place in my heart because I have been to Israel 3 times and it has changed me each time. The recipes are worth the time in this cookbook. Especially the babka, wow. And the soffrito. another wow. I had the pleasure of going to his restaurant with my son and my cousins when I was visiting London and it just confirmed why I have a kitchen crush on Yottam.
