One Day Wellness + Menopause Retreat: Sunday, October 27, 2024

$295

9:00-4:00 Sunday October, 27, 2024

Bette Davis famously said, "Old Age Ain't for Sissies."
  • Are you in your 50's and menopause is having its way with you?
  • Then, of course, there are the delicious and wacky years of post-menopause, the 60's, and not the one you were born in - post- no one talks about that part of menopause.

As we are blasting through decades, our bodies and minds are doing all kinds of interesting flips and turns. Thoughts on aging, sexual health, vaginal dryness, in the mood, out of the mood, hormones, hormonal replacement, relationships, empty nesting, retirement, physical health and mobility, what to eat, what not to eat, have taken over all topics of conversation.

There is the reverse of the nesting we did in our thirties as we ask ourselves, How did we accumulate so much crap?

Our kids, if we have them, are moving too, maybe they are off to college or have moved out permanently.

Our intimate relationships may have moved on or perhaps they need some juice (literal or figurative) to maintain what is working.

We are going to cover a lot of ground at this jam packed day filled with expert presenters who will share it whole-heartedly with our open and hungry minds.

This day is a chance for community with kindred spirits, where we hear from experts and share our own experiences to learn ways to deal with all the shit no one told us about.

What better way to learn and also treat yourself to a day of fabulous conversations with like minded women on many of these topics.

This all inclusive event will include presentations from experts, mini self care treatments, and food and delights all day in Alayne's Garden and her magic space at 11 Constitution St. in beautiful Bristol, RI. (Make sure you can climb stairs as some of this will take place on the second floor.)

More details to follow. Have a question? Email alayne@alaynewhite.com or text or call 401-575-6670.

We are also offering a lovely TWO DAY WRITING AND WELLNESS RETREAT if you want to make a weekend out of it, sign up here instead.
